|
`Date` field type is used to store date values. NocoDB supports a wide range of date formats, as detailed in the table below.
|

|
|
|
|
## Create a date field
|
|
|
|
1. Click on `+` icon to the right of `Fields header`
|
|
|
|
2. On the dropdown modal, enter the field name (Optional).
|
|
|
|
3. Select the field type as `Date` from the dropdown.
|
|
|
|
4. Configure `Date Format`
|
|
|
|
5. Configure default value (Optional)
|
|
|
|
6. Click on `Save Field` button.
|
|
|
